OUR STORY
ABOUT RACING LIVERY
As a lifelong motorsport enthusiast and graphic designer I founded Racing Livery in January 2013. From an early age I would spend hours filling my sketchbooks with various car designs and liveries. The big jump from sketchbooks to online came around 2006-08, designing graphics for the once popular BATracer strategy game. I founded a large online community (Robsworkshop) for fellow livery designers, developing new templates and designs for the game.
The first real design came in 2013 under the guise ‘Motorsport-Designs’. After a couple of years Motorsport-Designs was rebranded, leading to the birth of Racing Livery. We still work closely with the majority of these early customers and I believe that over a decade of client retention speaks volumes to the quality of service that we provide.
Without relying on extensive advertising, the majority of our work is attained through personal recommendation and word of mouth. As a result Racing Livery became too large to manage as a part time hobby and soon expanded into a full time venture. I am thankful that I am able to pursue my dream job, alongside these fantastic teams and drivers. Many whom have become good friends.
We have customers in over 5 continents and our logo can be seen on cars at almost every race weekend here in the UK. We pride ourselves on working with smaller club drivers as well as large Lemans winning teams. We give every project the same care and attention, because as motorsport fans we want every design to be something our customers are proud to put on track.
